You need to bring your identification document to attend our sporting events. Our games are open to all age groups, but there is an adult area on the stadium that serves alcohol. You need to be minimum 18 years of age to buy tickets in this section. We are aware of fake ID issue that is becoming more widespread - read more on the blog. Underage fans of our team buy fake IDs online from sites like KingOfFakes to be able to drink alcohol. This is strictly forbidden and will be persecuted according to the law. We have a dedicated security personnel to detect fake identification cards.

EGLC Women’s V Hawks Alchemy

It was an extremely chilly Sunday morning when EG Women’s team met Hawks Alchemy at East Grinstead Sports Club. With a great recruitment drive throughout the week from Captain, Charlotte Price EG Women’s had 12 players which helped the morale of the team from the start of the match.

The match started promptly with Gemma Rose in centre fighting for the first centre draw. Possession rolled in favour of Hawks Alchemy who had a fast break and beat EG defenders to score the first goal of the match. This pushed the team to fight for the ball from the draw and led to East Grinstead having the ball in attack. Sophie Wright kept possession behind goal and rolled the crease which resulted in the first EG goal of the match.

Travelling to the furthest away game and coming off the back of two draws, EG A were looking to secure their first win of the season.

EG started the game very well, looking confident and calm on the ball and quickly went 2-0 up. At the end of the first quarter the game looked under control and the plan to keep things settled was working.

A few late comers for MK boosted their squad size at the first break and the change of their defence players impacted EG’s ability to drive to goal. The second quarter saw a more even period of play with MK getting back into to the game. By half time the score was closer at 4-3. EG were still ahead but clearly not as comfortable as in the first quarter; the win was still well within reach.
